AMU Application Form 2016: Aligarh Muslim University offers various Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses for students to choose from. For admission to these UG and PG courses, the university conducts separate entrance exam for each course and the candidates who qualify the exam then called up for further proceedings i.e. Interview/ counselling. To apply for the exam, the candidates are required to fill the AMU Application Form 2016. The admission will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the entrance exam and the number of seats available for that course.

How to Fill AMU Application Form 2016

Please follow the following instructions to fill the AMU Online Form 2016:

1. Register online and provide your correct and functional email as well as phone number because your username and password etc. will be sent on this email.
2. Login using your username and password. Your Dashboard will be available to you for filling the form.
3. Only Single Registration is sufficient for applying to the multiple courses by each candidate.
4. Please note every candidate will Register separately and will get his/her username and password to access his/her Dashboard for filling as well as tracking the form(s).
5. In case you have lost/forgot your password, Please use Forgot Password link to get it. It will be sent to you on your registered email.
6. Please fill your Profile carefully and Review it properly before Saving it as you will not be able to Edit/Update it afterward.

Last Date to Fill AMU Application Form 2016

Application form link for all the UG and PG courses along with their last date of submission are shared above in the tables. Make sure to fill the form on or before the last date of submission as applications received after that won't be acepted. Procedure Of Payment of Application Fee

Payment of Course Fee: There are following 3 modes of payment of course Fee:

• Bank Demand Draft      
• Bank Challan      
• Online Payment

Bank Demand Draft:
Bank Draft should be drawn in favor of ‘Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh'.

Bank Challan:

1. Bank Challan facilities are available through ICICI Bank, Extension Counter, Aligarh(Adjacent to SBI, AMU, Aligarh) and Canara Bank, AMU, Branch, Aligarh.
2. Candidates are requested to choose 'ICICI & Canara Bank' from bank drop down list and enter the Challan No. in DD No. column, in case they are paying through bank Challan.
3. Physically Challenged/Blind candidates need not deposit any Application Fee and may write '0000' in DD column.

Online Payment: 

• Online payment can be done either by Net Banking, Credit Card/ Debit Card.
• Candidates who use Online mode for payment and do not get link for  downloading the PDF copy of the duly filled in Form, are requested to wait for its renewal which generally takes about 30 minutes.
• If it is not available even after 24-48 hrs they may contact the Admission Section, via helpdesk numbers or in person and tell their name, father name, course applied for and date of payment. If their payments are successful, the details for downloading the PDF copy of the form shall be emailed to them on the email IDs provided in the Application Form. However, candidates are requested not to take risk on the last dates and use offline mode (DD/Challan).

Note:  Applicants of Test Courses are requested to send the printout of the duly filled in AMU Online Form 2016 along with the relevant documents to the Deputy/Asstt. Controller, Admission Section, AMU, Aligarh only on or before the last date of submission of the Application Form.
